 Norma Dugger has had over 19 years of experience in the travel industry, was qualified as an Aussie Specialist in 1999, and a Premier Specialist since the inception of the program. She specializes in adventure and luxury travel for her clients as well as cruises and tours. Her agency, Portfolio Travel, is a member of the Virtuoso consortium of travel agencies and is located in the heart of Washington, DC near the Washington National Cathedral. In May 2009 she is pleased to promote travel to Australia with an event at the Australian Embassy. Ask her about it!
Norma has arranged well over 300 client trips to Australia and has personally traveled in the Australian states/territories of New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and the Northern Territory. Her daughter attended graduate school and worked in Sydney for six years, inspiring Norma’s visits which helped gain perspectives and insights about life in Australia. Norma’s visited Queensland in September 2006 including Hayman and Lizard Islands, and in September 2007 Melbourne and its environs including Phillip Island and the Hunter Valley. She is going on a Virtuoso sponsored trip in late April 2008 and will focus on South Australia including Adelaide, the Barossa Valley and Kangaroo Island.
Norma takes the time to make a match between her clients, their budgets and their preferred travel style (independent or package). She works with a variety of tour operators who specialize in designing seamless trips to Australia. In addition, Virtuoso has designated preferred supplier contacts based in Australia who specialize in arranging individualized trips for her clients.
